Bluebonnets in the city

You don't have to go very far to find bluebonnets in Texas. I used to think I had to travel to the country and walk among the cows to find a nice meadow of bluebonnets. Not true. I found these beauties in Houston on T.C. Jester at Loop 610 in March. My daughter was cooperative for about 5 minutes, long enough for me to get some decent shots of her in her Easter dress. The day was perfect--cloudy and warm with a little breeze. Much better than this Easter weekend. It is below 40 degrees and raining. Not a good time to go Easter egg hunting outside. Arden will have to see what the bunny left her in little nests around the house this Easter!
