Presidio La Bahia

Easter weekend, my husband David, best friend Lori, and I stayed in a suite on the grounds of Presidio La Bahia, an old Spanish fort located in Goliad, TX. I booked the place thinking it would be neat to stay in an est. 1721 fort instead of a Quality Inn. This trip proved to be much more than a fun getaway to see our favorite band Reckless Kelly play in an old dancehall near Goliad--Schroeder Hall. We encountered a mystical place where spirits reside even if you don't see or hear them. I think we all found a little bit of peace within ourselves by taking in the aura of La Bahia.
